Colour
Diamond colour refers to the absence of colour within a diamond.
The industry grading scale ranges from D to Z:- D-F: Colourless
- G-J: Near Colourless
- K-Z: Increasing traces of colour
Many clients find that G-H colour natural diamonds offer an excellent balance between appearance and value.
Clarity
Clarity refers to the natural characteristics found within a diamond, known as inclusions, and any surface markings known as blemishes.
Clarity grades range from Flawless (FL) to Included (I).
Many inclusions are microscopic and only visible under magnification. A well-selected diamond can offer exceptional beauty across a range of clarity grades.
Carat Weight
Carat refers to a diamond's weight.
While larger diamonds generally command higher prices, two diamonds with the same carat weight can appear different in size depending on their proportions and shape.
